Telema is a member of INFOBALT in Lithuania

In January 2016, Telema joined Lithuanian ICT association INFOBALT. Telema and Infobalt share a similar mission - to promote the use of IT for the benefit of society, businesses and public sector. Membership in INFOBALT allows Telema to contribute to the Lithuanian information society.

Electronic data interchange penetration in Lithuania is less than 10%. Majority of businesses have the potential to improve their processes and save resources.

Technological innovation is willingly accepted only when there is a clear understanding of the benefits. Telema’s goal is to educate Lithuanian traders on the benefits of EDI by sharing the best practice and developing the "e-culture". Experience sharing is now vital, since Lithuania has started several initiatives towards paperless business communication, for example, i.MAS project.
