06.11.2012 Telema WebSupplier 4doc was awarded with the II-III prize of Logistics Act of the Year 2012 in Estonia. It is an annual award given already 11th year to the most influential improvement in logistics during the year.

Logistics Act of the Year 2012 winners were announced at the Annual Logistics Conference "Leagile" on 06.11.2012. Telema Websupplier 4Doc solution and TTU Institute of Logistics Supply Chain MBA-program were runner-ups to the
first place. First prize went to EVR Cargo for their ZUBR project -  train transporting marine containers. The finalists and the winner were determined by combining votes of the jury and the public.

Telema nominated its Websupplier 4Doc as a simple and affordable application that enables suppliers to meet the new standards of the supply chain imposed by the buyers. Instead of classical 2-document (order and invoice) model, many
retailers are moving towards the more elaborate 4-document model (order - despatching advice - receiving advice - invoice). Telema Websupplier 4Doc targets smaller suppliers by providing the new functionality for less cost and effort in system development. Retailers benefit from automation of supply chain processes. Due to significant savings on supplier and retailer side, the price level of the goods does not increase and that brings joy to the end consumers.

The 4-document supply chain model has been used by Selver since 2010, Bauhof will commence in November 2012. Rimi is currently in planning and implementation stages, the system will be operational in 2013.
